PMAC Folk Show Manchester Concert reviews
Phantom was great!
The amazing new production of PMAC Folk Show did not disappoint. The music was wonderful, as always, and the chandelier, a major part of the show, was opulent and beautiful. The best part of the show was the sets. I LOVED the rotating sets, which gave the show a whole new feel. However, I have to be honest and candid, some of the changes they made to the show did not sit well with me. Cameron McIntosh changed the Phantom, and I don't think he should have done that. Some of the changes to the Phantom made him a less desirable character, and I lost some of my sympathy for him in this show. This is my favorite musical of all time! Other than that, the show was wonderful!
